Curtains

Due to several requests, here are some pictures of our curtains. Right now we have all of our sheers, two valances and one panel. We had to order the rest of the curtains and hopefully will be in by the first of Februrary. We are thinking or reordering red valances for the dining area. Im looking forward to getting the rest of the curtains in for a finished look.

We are back...

So the Holidays are over. Or are they really? Only 36 shopping days before Valentine's...and counting.

Well, Mrs. H and I have made some improvements to our home. With a little help from the D's, we have painted the living AND dining area. I think they turned out great. We were a little skeptical of the green color we picked out for our living room, but, you never know what it truly looks like until it goes on the wall. I think we are very pleased. Im half-tempted though to go with Mr. D's idea and paint a tribute to the armed forces on our wall. The "army" green is a wonderful background for an armed services mural.

Oh, and over the holidays, someone turned 30. I wont mention names.

Here are some pics of our improvements, and the joys of painting...and hanging curtains.

The fireplace. Cant even tell there
was white wallpaper there.

The supervisor of the project.
I sure hope she approves.

Mrs D. Hanging curtains.

Mr. D. approves of the painting job we did.

Mr. D. and Mrs. H enjoy painting together.

Our house is now becoming a home.
It's nice to see any other color but white on our walls.

Thank you to the H's for donating our living
room rug.

The dining room yellow. The room
is so much warmer and more inviting.

The front door. Since this picture
was taken, there is a new curtain
hanging. Ill have to post a picture
of it soon.
