Biggest Loser Couples...

One of the few shows that my wife and I do enjoy watching together is The Biggest Loser. I missed last week's episode and was really excited to catch last night's show. We've watched the last couple of seasons together, and were eager for this season to start. I think the main reason is that it's couples working together to lose weight. We really made a connection last nite with Curtis and Mallory. We felt they were a genuine married couple that were there for the right reasons. They really seemed to be having a good time and enjoyed one another's company during that two weeks of training. We connected with their emotion of fighting together to lose the weight. My wife said to me,"I really like them. They seem really nice. They are my favorite." Well the other participants on the show thought the same thing and voted them off. I felt bad for them for some reason. I really liked Curtis because he was just a nice guy during the whole episode. He was everyone's "Big Man." Mallory cried because she wanted to stay so bad. So much for having a strong character and relationship. That won't get you anywhere on the Biggest Loser.

We did enjoy the "catch up" segment at the end. It was amazing to see how much weight they have lost together at home. I think they will be just fine. They just needed a push, shove, and some motivation to get them on their way to a healthier life.

With the Biggest Loser, Mrs. H. and I have considered joining the National Biggest Loser Challenge. I think the projected weight loss goal is 1.2 million pounds. How about you? Would you consider joining? Let me know. If you want to know more about joining the club, go here.

I love Wheel... I guess just about every puzzle (unless it's a new actor or actress) BUT if I were to get on the show (and I've put my app in, believe me) my brain would take a vacation or I would hit Lose a Turn or Bankrupt every time it was my turn! LOL

hey chris and sarah
i missed last night...cripes...
love the biggest loser. takes alot of bare your soul in front of millions.. i give them big props. in week one they voted off the dad and daughter from cleve.
last night, you said it was that couple , right real nice folks. I think they said he needed to lose alot of he would be in serious trouble.

as for the toxic lake. I grew up swimming in Lake Erie..and that was back in the 60's when, god knows what was in it.. I have yet to grow a 3rd eye, so it hasn't killed me yet. keep up that running... (in your super dry shorts, haha)

One would not understand unless they were me. IM A SWEATER!!! Nike should use me for their tests on their clothes to see just how dry their clothes keep ME. I sweat horribly. I always take extra clothes with me to wear home, knowing im going to be drenched in sweat. Ugggh.i hate it. But its what i am. Drink. More. Fluids.

I've thought about the challenge, but I'm not sure how much I'll check in and post on there.

The Jayhawk/OOSG casa loves to watch the Biggest Loser. We usually try and set up our workouts on the trainer to it for a lil' more motivation.

Oh, and you can register for your own domain within blogger. :) Check out the publishing section.

Ahhh i liked them too! I was bummed they got booted, but felt sooo bad for that phil guy b/c he ate and he was seemed so upset. I think he should have stayed b/c he is on the verge of a heartattack. Hopefully he'll lose a lot.

I totally agree. As much as I miss Curtis and Mallory, Phil really needs this. I just remember him saying that his father died at 48 and his grandfather at 51. Phil is 44. I just think about MY dad and how he is now 55 and smokes. I wish he would quit. Hes at that heart attack age.

I would probably put my foot in my mouth on national television! LOL

I like to see the greedy ones get theirs!

How would you put your foot in your mouth? I know im not camera friendly. I DO know that.

LOL.

I guess motivivation for me to run from time to time is making sure that I'm never on the Biggest Loser. I dont want to be in that type of condition.

I haven't watched BL, but I think joining the challenge might be fun. We wouldn't win since we don't have as much to lose as other people would, but it would be fun to try!

I totally agree it would be fun. Yes, maybe we dont have as much to lose, but it could be a way to keep us focused on our goals in a secondary way. Yes, we are focused on training for this event or that event, but maybe joining a challenge like this may give us new motivation to acheive our training goals.

Just a thought i suppose.
