Hyde Park Blast
So tomorrow is the 10th running of the Hyde Park Blast. It will be my first running of this major 4m race. I've heard so many things about this race. It is a hard race. The race is hilly, scenic, and attracts a lot of elite runners from the area. The winner of the 2009 Blast ran it in under 19 minutes. That's amazing. So I am a little nervous about it, but excited to run a major Cincinnati Race!
Under the Weather
Ugh. Under the weather! I believe this is the first time I've ever been sick during the summer. From what I hear there is a virus going around. A few co-workers have been out sick this week. Watch out for the summer flu bug!

House Projects
There have been several in the past few weeks. First, the old deck was tore down in lieu of creating a new patio. Then, the electrical cable running from the house to the garage was trenched a week ago. On Monday, the two stumps left over from the mulberry trees that were cut down in our yard were chipped away and removed. Lastly, the boot vent pipe running out of our house through the roof was replaced and sealed. There had been leakage onto the 3rd floor through the old and brittle seal. That got replaced and now we are hoping that there is no more water coming in. Fingers crossed.
